Privacy Policy
Who we are
OV1 Auto Group is a Los Angeles based brokerage. This policy covers ov1autogroup.com.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email, phone number and your message. With it we store the date and time, your IP address and your browser's user-agent string, to prevent abuse. To limit abuse we also keep a one-way hash of your IP address for up to an hour. The form uses a session cookie that only protects it from forged submissions; it ends when you close your browser.
- Server logs: like most websites, our web server records each request: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page and the browser's user-agent string.
- Credit application: collected and stored by our form provider, JotForm, in the form shown on our credit application page. Your application is not sent to or stored on this website or in our database.
- Cloudflare: the site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes the same request data to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. Cloudflare may set a cookie needed for that security.
We use Google Analytics to measure how the site is used (next section). We don't use advertising pixels.
How we use it
We use what you send through the contact form to reply to you. It's saved in our database and emailed to our team's inbox. Logs are used to run and secure the site.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that run the site: our web host, Cloudflare, our email provider, Google Workspace, Google Analytics (below), and JotForm for the credit application. We don't sell your personal information or share it for advertising.
Credit application: as you authorize in the application, it is shared with OV1 Auto Group, the selling dealership, and their financing partners, lenders and service providers.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages, lease offers and buttons people use, so we can improve the site. It records the pages you view, roughly where you are (city level), your device and browser type, and actions such as opening an offer, using a filter or clicking Apply. It does not record your name, email address, phone number or anything you type into a form, and it never sees the credit application, which is a separate JotForm page inside ours. Google sets a cookie to tell one visit from the next.
Advertising features are turned off: no Google signals, no ad personalization, and we don't use the data for ads. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Google Analytics is not loaded at all. To opt out everywhere, install Google's browser add-on. Google's own privacy policy applies to the data it processes: policies.google.com/privacy.
If you message us on Instagram, that conversation happens on Instagram and is covered by Instagram's own privacy policy.
